European Diploma Supplements
From Autumn 2015, LIT will enable access to your European Diploma Supplement (EDS) via a secure website and a secure, official electronic document system, which uses legally compliant digital signature technologies.
You can login to this service and access and/or share your own official EDS with prospective employers or educational institutions. Access to this system is restricted to authorised graduates of LIT.
These documents are free of charge and will be accessible to you from the week of LIT graduation ceremonies onwards.
What is the European Diploma Supplement?
The EDS is issued to graduates of Higher Education Institutions in addition to their degree or certificate. It provides information regarding the award, which is not available on the official parchment such as the skills and competencies acquired, the level of the award you have achieved and the results you have obtained.
What is the purpose of EDS?
It is an important document, which outlines in detail your academic achievement for your award. You may need this document as part of the evidence of your academic record to give to national or international prospective employers, education institutions or for migration purposes.

How can I access this document?
To access your European Diploma Supplement you will need to have your LIT Student ID number (Your K or P number) to hand. In order to view your EDS you will need to have Adobe Reader installed on the device that you are viewing your EDS.
After your graduation has taken place, you will receive an email to alert you that your EDS has been issued. Please note that this alert will go to your LIT student email address unless you have changed this online to a personal email address. This email contains information on how to access your document.
