A CATALYST for Change - LIT Library Host Visit of Staff from Universities in Vietnam and Laos

LIT Library are proud to host the meeting of the Project Management Board of the EU ERASMUS + funded CATALYST project from 19th-21st November 2018.

CATALYST is focused on providing hands-on practical skills to promote university vocational teaching and training in Vietnam and Laos. The main aims of the project being the design, delivery and coordination of a Core Curricula on vocational teaching methodology to be taught at Vietnamese and Laotian universities incorporating Library and Information Literacy skills modules.

The project has six University partners from Vietnam from cities such as Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Hung Yen and Vinh and two university partners both from Vientiane, Laos. Also participating are EU partners- Dresden University of Technology, Dresden, Germany, The Pyramid Group, Ulm, Germany and Edge Hill University, Ormskirk, United Kingdom.

LIT Library are one of the EU partners in the project, which is led by Polytechnic University of Bucharest, Romania.

The project is funded under the ERASMUS + Capacity Building in the Field of Higher Education (CBHE) funding programme.
