Tom was cofounder of Eirgen Pharma in 2005 with Patsy Carney, in a space similar to QUESTUM. EirGen was acquired by Miami based OPKO Inc in 2015 for a considerable $135 million.

Tom is also a founder shareholder of specialist healthcare Stability Storage company Q1 Scientific which is growing rapidly. He is also a board member of machine vision and automation specialists Crest Solutions and a board member of The National Maternity Hospital (Holles St.) Foundation.
