Student Registration

1st Year Students

Following the closing date for acceptance of a place with the CAO, the Institute will send details of registration procedures in late August. Online registration for all first year students will open in late August.

All Students

All fees must be paid by the relevant date(s) or learners will not be permitted to register. The only exceptions will be where documentary proof of eligibility to grant-aid is provided in advance of registration. Visit the Grants & Fees section of this website for more information.

Where learners fail to register within the deadline, the Institute will offer the place to the next person on the waiting list at the next round of offers.

TUS Online Registration & Payment Instructions

Please note in order to successfully complete this process you will need the following:

  • Student ID Number – (case sensitive CAPITAL K or P)
  • PIN number
  • Debit or Credit Card (Mastercard /VISA Debit-Credit).

Step 1 On your internet browser enter the following URL:
Step 2 Click on Enter Secure Area
Step 3 Enter your Student ID Number and PIN and choose Login
You will have received you LOGIN Details, User ID and PIN with your registration pack.
Step 4 Click on Student Services & Financial Aid
Step 5 Click on Online Registration
Step 6 Follow the on-screen instructions and please ensure to read the information on each webpage. Once you have all the information menu link completed, choose Confirm Registration.
Step 7 Once you have confirmed your Registration details you will then arrive at a SECURE SITE where you can enter your card details in order to make your payment. The Pay Now button requires payment IN FULL. Pay Later button will allow part-payments and allows grant holders to register. IMPORTANT: Full-time undergraduate students who have applied for a Grant and have not received notification of eligibility for the grant from the awarding body by 31st of October must pay 50% of the fee owing to the Institute. This money will be refunded once the full grant is received.
Step 8 Once a payment is completed a Payment Confirmation E-Mail will be sent to the e-mail address you have provided. This is your receipt for payment.

Grant Holders

Students who have grant approval should choose the Pay Later option once you have completed the registration screens.

Class Materials/Health & Safety Fee


Art & Design Students are required to pay a Class Materials Fee & Students in the Dept. of Applied Science are required to pay a Health & Safety fee and this has been included in the total amount due. Students with approval for fee sponsorship or maintenance sponsorship remain liable for class materials/Health & Safety fees.
