TUS Midwest Foundation

The TUS Midwest Foundation is dedicated to helping achieve the mission and goals of the Institute. TUS Midwest is a registered charity, No. 10923, through which funds raised by the activities of the Foundation are donated to the Institute. The Foundation shares a common purpose to assist TUS Midwest, its students, and faculty/staff in meeting current and future needs. "The aspiration for excellence and relevance of the Campus Development plan is embodied in the development vision - we will create places where people want to be - hubs of education and research, enterprise, sport, culture and community."

Inspired by Nelson's Mandela's philosophy of "education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world", TUS and the TUS Midwest Foundation are motivated to support access to education to all. Through the Foundation and its friends and supporters, we foster partnerships and provide opportunities of mutual benefit with alumni, individuals, trusts and foundations and the corporate sector to become involved in student scholarships, enterprise support, capital development as well as academic and research programmes.​

TUS Midwest has a proud record in widening participation in Higher Education. Inspired by this commitment, the TUS Midwest Foundation has adopted as a priority the provision of a sponsorship programme to students. The Leaders at TUS Midwest student scholarship programme aims to alleviate the strain of financial difficulties experienced by students, so that they can concentrate fully on their education and finish their programme of study.  For more information, please contact michelle.moloney@lit.ie
