This module covers the topics pertinent to electric power quality and energy storage. The module includes interruptions of service, voltage flicker and control, voltage swells and sags, surges, voltage regulation, grounding, harmonics, loads, conditioning, and diagnostic equipment. It also looks at storage techniques and how they help address power quality issues. For each of the previous issues, its causes and effects, and ways to record, measure, evaluate the problems are discussed, both with theory, engineering methods and example case studies.
