Diploma in Quality Management Part 1 (Limerick)

The aim of this programme is to give participants an understanding of general management principles (based on the ISO9000 standards) and of how quality is managed in a manufacturing or service organisation. It will explain the methodology of quality improvement, in particular the various tools and techniques for analysis.
What are the entry requirements?
There are no formal academic entry requirements.
ENGLISH LANGUAGE: Applicants who do not have English as their first language must ensure they satisfy English Language requirements. For entry to undergraduate courses, a minimum score of 5.5 in an IELTS exam is required. For postgraduate courses, a minimum of 6.0 is required. It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure their English proficiency meets these requirements.

20 weeks, 3 hours per week, Mondays from 6.15pm to 9.15pm
The next proposed start date is Monday 28th September 2020.
Classes will be run online for the 2020-2021 academic year.
What will the time commitment be?
Each 5 credits will normally equate to approximately 100 Total Learning Hours. Total Learning Hours includes the time you spend in class (lectures, tutorials, practical elements) and the time you spend completing work outside of college. The balance between these two varies by discipline, and by level of study. You should bear in mind that the workload will increase at particular times e.g. when assignments are due.
The Programme is assessed through an annual written examination and a project completed during the year.

€650 tuition fee paid direct to LIT upon registration.
An examination fee of approximately €175 is also payable direct to EIQA mid-way through the course. The EIQA will contact students registered on the course directly for the exam payment and the payment must be paid directly to the EIQA. Tuition and Exam Fee can not be combined in one payment. Please do not include the exam payment when forwarding tuition fee to LIT.
