Do face masks have to be worn at the Conferring Ceremony?
In the interest of health and safety, everyone attending the Conferring Ceremony is requested to wear a face mask.
Where is the Technological University of the Shannon: Midlands Midwest (TUS) hosting their 2021 Conferring Ceremonies?
The Conferring Ceremonies for the TUS Campuses located in Limerick, Tipperary and Clare will be held at the newly named TUS Gaelic Grounds (Ennis Road) in Limerick City.
Graduands will be conferred by the President of TUS, Professor Vincent Cunnane.

The conferring schedule is available on www.lit.ie/conferring.
How do graduates confirm their attendance?
To confirm attendance, each graduate is required to book their Conferring Robe online with Armstrong and Oxford here.
Your conferring robe booking is your confirmation of attendance. We ask that all robes are booked before close of business on the 29th of October 2021. This will be the final date for robe bookings, and the last date to confirm your attendance at the ceremony.
How do I book my guest tickets?
When you book your conferring robe you will receive the option to select your guest tickets. Each graduate can book up to 3 guest tickets. Guest tickets will be available when you collect your robe on the day of your conferring ceremony.
Where will graduates and guests be seated?
Graduates and Guests will be seated in the covered stand in the TUS Gaelic Grounds, which is protected from the rain. The stage will be built into the stand and therefore graduates and guests will not be accessing the pitch.
Will photography be available at the Venue?
Andrews Photography will operate four photographic studios at the 2021 TUS graduations at the TUS Gaelic Grounds. Booking is not necessary as all studios will be open from 9am. We do recommend, if possible, to arrive early and have your portraits taken before your conferring ceremony to avoiding queueing after the event.
A parchment framing service will also be available at the TUS Gaelic Grounds at a cost of €20. If you have any queries please phone Eamonn at 0872669262.

Will refreshments be provided?
Complimentary Tea/Coffee and refreshments will be available for all graduates and guests immediately after each ceremony.
What parking facilities are available?
Parking facilities will be confirmed and advertised closer to the event date.
What Toilet facilities are available?
Ladies, Gents, and wheelchair accessible toilets are available on site.
How long will the ceremonies take?
The length of each ceremony will depend on the number of graduates in attendance. The approx. time will be between 60-90 minutes.
Will we be able to return to the LIT/TUS site with the robes for pictures, or will the robe service expect return of same after the ceremony?
Armstrong & Oxford are the conferring robe providers. Graduates are expected to return robes after the ceremony. For specific enquiries please email email@example.com
What happens If I am unable to attend the ceremony?
Graduands & Guests who are unable to attend the ceremony can view a livestream of the event.

Parchments will be posted to graduates after the conferring ceremony.
If you or one of your guests has a disability related seating requirement, please advise your Faculty administrator so that your request can be accommodated.
Will the Conferring Ceremony be livestreamed?
Graduands & Guests who are unable to attend the ceremony can view a livestream of the event. The link will be available on www.lit.ie/conferring.
How do I get my European supplement?
Following your conferring ceremony, I am pleased to advise you that your European Diploma Supplement will be available from the following link – https://core.digitary.net/ . You can access your European Diploma Supplement, via this website link, at any stage should you wish to provide prospective employers and/or other educational institutions details of the modules you have completed.

Is it possible to hold the Conferring Robes for a longer period?
Armstrong & Oxford, offer an extended hire option for an extra €20 which can be paid on the day. This means that the customer can keep the gown for up to a week and then return by post.
