Senior Project Assistant- Sustainable Energy Skills
Stephanie graduated from the University of Limerick with a degree in Architecture and began with the Development Unit as Research Assistant in 2019 to work on a number of European projects. In 2021 Stephanie became a Senior Project Assistant with the DU to continue work on multiple projects.
Stephanie has a keen interest in design, as well as in research and learning. During her time in university, she gained experience working in the field of architecture and spent her weekends teaching music to adults and children. Her thesis project investigated bringing together city and nature, and the effects of natural and man-made spaces on the body and mind.
Stephanie is a recipient of the Women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (WISTEM) Award, and was selected to be a member of the IAF Emerging Architecture Writers panel 2021.
Since graduating she has continued to further her knowledge in sustainable energy, circular economy and digitalisation in the construction industry, in BIM tools, as well as green procurement policies and best practices.
