Gillian Barry: LIT Head of Innovation & Enterprise

Gillian leads the LIT Innovation & Enterprise team and together they manage enterprise cemtres across Limerick, Clare & Tipperary, LIT has the largest portfolio of enterprise, incubation and acceleration centres in Ireland, we operate 2 early stage seed funds and are involved in numerous EU projects. Gillian also manage the Enterprise Ireland funded national entrepreneur development programme called New Frontiers for innovative HPSU’s which is run at the Hartnett Centre, where LIT support around 100 entrepreneurs through various startup support programmes & initiatives annually. Gillian sits on a number of boards including the Limerick Civic Trust, Croom Enterprise Centre and The Learning Hub where she is Chairperson. Gillian is the Co-Founder & Director of the ITLG Young Innovators and the Model Startup Nations Summit and was part of the core team that led the Startup Gathering in 2015. We are collaborators and partners at heart in LIT so you'll find Gillian working with many different organisations as we strive to make a really positive social & economic impact.
