Gillian spent the first 10 years of her 20 years in business, as a certified software engineer and business analyst before moving further into project management and senior management heading up the CRM team for a growing technology consultancy company based in London before moving back to Ireland to lead the LIT Innovation & Enterprise team.
With campuses across Limerick, Clare & Tipperary, LIT has the largest portfolio of enterprise, incubation and acceleration centres in Ireland, we operate 2 early stage seed funds and are involved in numerous EU projects. Gillian also manages the Enterprise Ireland funded national entrepreneur development programme called New Frontiers for innovative HPSU’s which is run at the Hartnett Centre. LIT Innovation & Enterprise Team support around 100 entrepreneurs through various startup support programmes & initiatives annually. Gillian sits on a number of boards including the Limerick Civic Trust, Croom Enterprise Centre and The Learning Hub where she is Chairperson. Gillian is the Co-Founder & Director of the ITLG Young Innovators and the Model Startup Nations Summit and was part of the core team that led the Startup Gathering in 2015.
