Data Protection

New EU and Irish legislation, the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and the Data Protection Act, 2018 respectively, came into force on 25 May 2018. The new legislation applies to all data relating to, and descriptive of, living individuals defined as “personal data.” Individuals are referred to as “data subjects.”

LIT is committed to a policy of protecting the rights and freedoms of individuals with respect to the processing of their personal data.
