During your time at LIT you will have the opportunity to take part in countless activities whether they are through club & societies you join or with the International Office who will organise multiple trips and activities during the academic year.
Throughout the year LIT will organise trips around both Limerick and Ireland to ensure International students get a full experience of the country while they are here.
Some of the places visited in the past include:
- Cliffs of Moher
- Bunratty Castle
- Thomond Park Rugby Stadium
- Galway City
- King John’s Castle

We also host regular bowling, cinema and music nights around Limerick city.
Clubs and societies are a great way to get involved at LIT. During Freshers week (which takes place early in the academic year) you will be able to try out and join any of the many clubs and societies LIT have to offer.
One of our most popular clubs is the Outdoor Club who regularly take trips away to go surfing, kayaking and paddle boarding, to name a few things!
More details on Clubs & Societies are available here.
