Each student is entitled to 12 months of Erasmus funding which can be used for either study or placements.
For example a student may have studied abroad for one semester (4 months), and completed a placement abroad (3months) during their time at LIT. This means they still have 5 months remaining which can be used after graduation to begin an internship/placement abroad.
This funding can be used up to 12 months after a student graduates.
Students must source their placement themselves and it must be in the field of their past studies.
Every learning agreement must be signed off and approved by a student’s course leader (whether it is before or after graduation) so please ensure you arrange a meeting with your course leader prior to submitting your application form.
