On behalf of the Credit Union, I am delighted to have been working collaboratively with the students and staff of the Master of Business in Strategic Management and Marketing. On behalf of the Credit Union, students were required to uncover and analyse ongoing banking industry trends and issues. The overall assignment developed many skills that would be required in a corporate structure, such as problem solving, leadership, teamwork and group management.
On completion, the credit union received a well-structured and quality presentation of the students’ findings that encompassed marketing insights and strategic plans.
The students displayed theoretical knowledge and industry understanding along with strategic intellect. The actionable insights offered by the students’ output has proved both valuable and advantageous to the Credit Union. The skills students acquired reflected the necessary managerial and marketing skills required for a role within most industries, not only the financial services industry.
The opportunity to work with the students and staff of the Master of Business in Strategic Management and Marketing has been very positive. I would have no hesitation in working with the students of this course in the future.
