Are you eligible?
Most Erasmus placements stem from mandatory placements within your course. Placements must be a minimum of 60 days and if taken outside of Ireland and within the EU then you are eligible for Erasmus funding!
Source your Placement
The first step in applying for your funding is sourcing your placement. It is the students responsibility to source their own placement.
Contact the Erasmus Office
Once you have sourced your placement you must then contact the Erasmus Office. If you have all of your information, you can download the Outgoing Placement Form here and email the completed form to firstname.lastname@example.org
All students partaking in Erasmus must ensure they have an E111 card and insurance – please note students on placement must insure that their insurance covers them within the workplace. For more information please see here
As there is no nomination process with placement, your final step is submitting your forms and documentation!
Please note - There are no deadlines for Erasmus Placement funding applications – just ensure we have been notified and your forms have been sent in the week before your placement begins.
