Mechanical and Automobile Engineering Showcase 2021

Welcome to the Online Engineering Showcase 2021!

LIT’s annual Engineering Showcase provides the students from 1st to 4th year with an opportunity to present the project work they have completed throughout the year.

In previous years, the event has been held on campus in the Aula Maxima, where we are joined by many industry representatives such as Modular Automation, Takumi, KMAC, Analog, Jones Engineering, Shortts Engineering Steel, Stryker, Shannon Precision Engineering, Molex, Zimmer, Aughanish Alumina and many others. Awards are given to best project and student, selected by industry representatives. In recent years, we have had interviews and recruitment success for students develop from the event also.

The menus below will take you to each category of students in our Online Showcase, which involve both group and individual project work from the students across a range of different courses in the Department of Mechanical & Automobile Engineering. If there are any projects on display that are of interest to you, or you wish to contact any of the students link to these projects, please email
