Flexible Learning Students

Programme Fees: 

The fees for each programme are listed on their individual pages on the Flexible Learning website.  Flexible Learning students can search for their programme of study using the search function on the Flexible Learning webpage, where they will see the fee information on the right hand side of the course page. Methods of Payment:

Please note, that the Grants & Fees and Flexible Learning offices do not accept cash, cheques or bank drafts as a method of payment.

Flexible Learning students can pay their fees using the following methods: 

1. Online using a Credit/Debit Card

Please, click on the following link to log on to your student account.

The User ID is your Student Number and the PIN is provided on your letter of registration

Once logged in, there are 4 options:

  1. Online Registration
  2. Student Account
  3. Exam Results
  4. Receipts

Click on Option 2 – Student Account and then select the second option Account Balance by Term.

This screen will display your fee balance.

Select the Pay Now button, and the next screen should display the current term 202100

Press Submit, then a box will come up to input the amount to be paid, enter the amount and press Submit

The next screen will require Credit/Debit card details.

 

2. Sponsor Invoice

If a student's fees are being paid by their employer or another third party, they must download and complete a Sponsorship Agreement Form here.

Completed and signed Sponsorship Agreement Forms, should be submitted to the Grants & Fees Office of LIT at fees@lit.ie. 

Please note, that Sponsorship Agreement Forms must be completed and returned before the commencement date of the programme. Once the Sponsorship Agreement Form has been submitted, the Grants & Fees Office will issue an invoice directly to the sponsor.  

If a Flexible Learning student withdraws from their programme, €250 will be held as a non-refundable administration fee, other than in exceptional circumstances as outlined in our Withdrawal and Refund Policy. Flexible Learning students should make their sponsor aware of this before they commit to sponsorship of fees.

 

3. Instalment Plan

Instalment Plans are only available for non-springboard programmes, which are not run by or associated with an external organisation, with fees of €500 or greater and are a minimum of 10 weeks in duration. The first payment of €250 is due when signing up for the instalment plan.
