1. Leaders @ LIT Student Scholarship Programme
TUS has a proud record in widening participation in Higher Education. Inspired by this commitment, the TUS Foundation has adopted as a priority the provision of a sponsorship programme to students. The Leaders@TUS student scholarship programme aims to alleviate the strain of financial difficulties experienced by students, so that they can concentrate fully on their education and finish their programme of study. 2. Sports Scholarships
TUS has two types of Sports Scholarships:
TUS Gold Sports Scholarships
For those who are competing at the highest level of their chosen sport, for example, Inter-county, Interprovincial, International, FAI League of Ireland.
TUS Silver Sports Scholarship
Aims to give students the opportunity to develop and attain the highest level in their chosen sport while studying in TUS. It also includes administration scholarships for those who are supporting the TUS sports clubs through other areas, e.g. Social Media.

3. The 1916 Bursary Fund
The 1916 Bursary Fund opened on May 13 and will close on August 30. It is a targeted funding scheme established by the Department of Education and Skills to support the implementation of the National Plan for Equity of Access to Higher Education 2015-2019. The National Access Plan is working to increase the numbers of students who are currently underrepresented in higher education. The Bursaries are targeted at students who are socio-economically disadvantaged and who are from one or more of the target groups that have low participation rates in higher education.
