Visa & Insurance

Visa Applicants

Non-EU student applicants must apply for a visa to the Embassy of Ireland or the Consulate in their home country. It is the responsibility of the applicant to organise a study visa prior to arrival in Ireland.

It is important to remember that this process can take several months, and you should allow for this when you are planning your admission date.

Visa Documentation

If the applicant is offered a place at the Institute, they must submit all required documentation in order to apply for a study visa. We recommend consulting the Irish Department of Justice & Equality's website for the required documentation towards your study visa application.

Information on applying for a study visa and the documentation required can be found here.

Information on the online application process can be found here.

Insurance

Incoming students are required to avail of insurance towards their visa and immigration registration in Ireland.

There are a number of companies students may consider for insurance. For your convenience, we provide links to two such companies below for your consideration.

Insurance plans with these companies range from €190 to €686 per annum, and are dependent on a student's age.
