Clubs & Socs

LIT Clubs & Societies

Clubs & Societies are set up by students for the benefit of students and are a fantastic way of making friends, gaining new skills and enjoying your time in college. Involvement in a club or society also helps you to develop other valuable skills alongside your academic skills, such as leadership skills through committee involvement, experience in event management and much more.

Clubs and activities include Hurling, Camogie, Gaelic Football, Rugby, Soccer, Golf, Outdoor Pursuits, Boxing, Weightlifting, Judo and name but a few. For more information on our sports clubs please contact our Sports Office.

In addition to sports clubs, there is a diverese range of societies for students to join. If you are not interested in the clubs or societies that are on offer then you can always start your own. If you have an idea for a society that would be beneficial and fun for students then please contact the Students’ Union.
